We will meet at Taylorsville Lake the first Saturday of every month starting with March 4th and continuing until October 7, 2023.We will ride until after 12 and then share lunch and good times together. Come and join in for a casual social even that includes horses and the fun that always accompanies every BAHA event. Come when you can. See you there. No RSVP necessary. Even will be cancelled if there is a conflicting BAHA event.

One Day Ride Event

We will have a Halloween ride at Lorie Henderson’s Firelight Arabians on October 28, 2023. Bring your spookiest selves as there will be a costume contest for you and your horse. We will enjoy a hearty Chili dinner after with BAHA providing the Chili and drinks and everyone bringing an additional dish or dessert. Come for the ride or the dinner or both and enjoy good times with friends. Families invited and all are welcome. Bring your friends so they can experience the good family fun that is the fundamental part of every BAHA event. Ride time to be announced later.

Overnight Rides

We will have an overnight trail ride at Green River Lake State Park on June 10th and 11th at a private camp ground just outside the park. Come and enjoy a relaxing time at Green River Stables, the horse friendly campground. Call Curtis or Ashley at 270-789-4525 for reservations for Friday June 9th and Saturday June 10th nights as soon as you know you can come so that we can have sites near each other. Shared evening meals and relaxing fun. Bring the whole family to enjoy the beautiful Green River Park. There is plenty to do for those who do not ride. It is in Campbellsville, KY approximately 1 ½ hours from Louisville.

Our next even will be August 5th and 6th at Carter Caves State Resort Park that is east of Lexington just 2 hours away. Come and enjoy a weekend away with relaxing riding in the woods. There is plenty for everyone to do at this beautiful park. The equestrian sites can only be reserved by calling 606-286-4411. Reserve Friday August 4th and Saturday August 5th nights. Bring family and friends. We will share the evening meal on Saturday as a potluck dinner. Come sit around the campfire for some Smores. Plenty for youths to do if they don’t want to ride.

Our last overnight ride will be September 2nd, 3rd and 4th Labor Day weekend at the beautiful Mammoth Cave National Park. We will be staying at Noble Pine Campgrounds ( the old D Bar K Campgrounds ). Let’s recreate the huge amount of fun we had there for our original trail ride with over 50 people! Plan now for the holiday weekend. Reserve the nights of September 1st, 2nd and 3rd by calling 270-826-8130. Fun and games for all with a shared Saturday night meal. There is a lot to do for non-riders. We will also have a contest for who can pick up the most trash on the trails during the weekend. It will have a great surprise award for the winning trash pile. Come enjoy the woods and do a good deed at the same time. There will be games and fun for all.

Reservations

Everyone will make their own reservations for these overnight rides, so try to do so as soon as you can so we can all camp together. If you cannot come for all of the nights just come when you can. If you don’t want to camp overnight come and join us anyway for a fun filled day. Anyone who needs a ride for their horse can let me know and I will try to coordinate with those going to find anyone with an extra space in their trailer. Come to any or all of these events to enjoy riding in the cool woods on hot summer days. Go home relaxed and ready to face your busy week ahead.
